INGREDIENTS

Coconut Flour Keto Fries Ingredients
1/2 cup 50g coconut flour
3 tsp xanthan gum or konjac powder
8 tbsp boiling water
oil for frying
a pinch of salt
1/2 tsp paprika optional
Almond Flour Keto Fries Ingredients
1 cup blanched almond flour
3 tsp xanthan gum
6 tbsp boiling water
salt and pepper to taste

In a medium mixing bowl, add coconut flour, xanthan gum and season with salt and paprika. Mix well using a rubber spatula.
Add the hot water over the coconut flour mixture and knead the dough until a smooth dough is formed. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Place the dough on a baking sheet paper and roll it out into a 1/4 inch thick rectangle.
Use a sharp knife to cut the dough into french fries shapes.
Place a frying pan over medium heat and add enough frying oil to cover the fries.
Fry the dough strips until they are golden brown on each side.
Oven method: To make keto fries in the oven, place the cut fries on a baking tray lined with baking sheet paper greased with oil. Bake in the preheated oven at 200°C/400°F for about 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
NOTES
The macros are calculated without including the calories from the frying oil.
