  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup fat-free buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.
