WW Frozen peanut butter banana chocolate bites
Ingredients:
- 2 large bananas, peeled and cut into thin slices
- 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (at least 70% cocoa)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- Crushed nuts or shredded coconut for topping (optional)
Instructions:
1. Prepare Banana Slices:
- Line a baking sheet or plate with parchment paper.
- Place banana slices on the prepared sheet in a single layer.
2. Spread Peanut Butter:
- Spread a small amount of peanut butter onto half of the banana slices.
3. Create Sandwiches:
- Top each peanut butter-covered banana slice with another banana slice to create little “sandwiches.”
4. Freeze:
- Place the banana sandwiches in the freezer for at least 2 hours or until they are solid.
5. Melt Chocolate:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together. Stir until smooth.
6. Dip Frozen Banana Bites:
- Dip each frozen banana bite into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are well-coated. You can use a fork to help with the dipping process.
7. Optional Toppings:
- If desired, sprinkle the tops of the chocolate-coated banana bites with crushed nuts or shredded coconut before the chocolate hardens.
8. Freeze Again:
- Place the chocolate-coated banana bites back on the parchment-lined sheet and return them to the freezer. Allow them to freeze for an additional 1-2 hours or until the chocolate is completely set.
9. Serve:
- Once fully frozen, transfer the bites to a container or bag for storage in the freezer.
10. Enjoy:
- Grab a few bites whenever you need a sweet and satisfying treat!
