To prepare tofu:

  • 1/3 block of firm tofu, cut into thin strips
  • vegetable oil (enough to coat tofu)
  • thyme
  • pepper
  • salt
  • garlic salt
  • garlic powder
  • crushed red pepper
  • lemon pepper
  • soy sauce
  • vegan parmesan cheese
  • cherry tomatoes, havled (optional)
  • cherries, halved and pitted (optional) Toss or stir together in a small bowl until all of the tofu is coated with spices, oil, and soy sauce. Soy sauce may be absorbed into only some of the tofu. That’s okay, you can add more sauce if desired but I left it alone.
    To make sauce:
  • vegan mayo
  • hot sauce of your choice Mix together and set aside.
    Additional ingredients:
  • 2 slices of bread
  • vegan bacon strips
