The original pumpkin bars are super moist, soft and topped with the best cream cheese frosting on the planet! When Fall hits, that first cooler day and the leaves start changing, everyone wants pumpkin bars. I know that is one of the first things that I think of when I pull out my sweatshirts. The spice flavor inside of these bars is astronomical.
We have all fallen in love with the moist type of pumpkin bars in the fall and around the Holidays. When we crave something that deeply it has to be the perfect bar. Pumpkin bars make memories over all holidays. Families enjoy sitting and playing games while sharing a plate of pumpkin bars. This has been ongoing for generations.
Chopped pecans can be added to the Pumpkin batter before they are baked. There are many people that prefer walnuts in pumpkin bars. You will also find that many people prefer dusting the bars with simple confectioner’s sugar and leaving the frosting off.
