Ingredients:

  • 10 large jalapeños
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 10 slices of bacon, cut in half

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the jalapeños:
    • Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise, and use a spoon to remove the seeds and membranes. If you like it spicier, you can leave some of the membranes in.
  2. Make the filling:
    • In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  3. Fill the jalapeños:
    • Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, distributing it evenly.
  4. Wrap with bacon:
    • Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a half-slice of bacon, securing it with toothpicks if necessary.
  5. Preheat the air fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Air fry:
    • Place the stuffed jalapeños in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  7. Cook:
    • Air fry for about 10-15 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapeños are tender. Keep an eye on them to prevent overcooking.
  8. Serve:
    • Once done, carefully remove them from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Remove toothpicks before serving.
  9. Optional:
    • Serve with a side of ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauce.
