Ingredients:
- 1 rack of baby back ribs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ribs:
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
- Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
- Season the Ribs:
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a rub.
- Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Preheat the Air Fryer:
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Air Frying:
- Place the seasoned ribs in the air fryer basket, bone side down. You may need to cut the rack in half to fit it into the basket, depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook for about 25-30 minutes, flipping the ribs halfway through the cooking time. Cooking times may vary, so keep an eye on them to prevent overcooking.
- Check for Doneness:
- The ribs are done when they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare or up to 160°F (71°C) for medium. Use a meat thermometer to check the temperature.
- Optional Finishing Touch:
- If you prefer a crispier exterior, you can brush the ribs with a little extra olive oil and air fry for an additional 5-10 minutes.
- Serve:
- Once done, let the ribs rest for a few minutes before slicing them into individual ribs.
- Serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over the ribs and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
